This 38mm button badge depicts The Diceman, Thom McGinty in his iconic Mona McGinty costume. Thom was a performance artist and activist who died from AIDS complications in 1994. He walked the streets of Dublin in elaborate costumes, sometimes humorous but also sometimes bitingly political. He wore a bloodied shroud at the Dáil gates to protest the suspended sentences of Declan Flynn's murderers.
